Have been knitting since childhood. My maternal grandmother taught me, and I knitted myself a suit at age 10. I had 2 children, and always knitted for them, and regularly called into my local wool shop down the road. Imagine my delight when the shop owner offered me a job!! Of course I accepted, and worked for several years until she retired and closed down. Love soft yarns with an interesting texture.
My long awaited granddaughter arrived on 31 st May. She won't go short on knits, but an outfit I started knitting a week ago, has now been unpicked, to be restarted in a bigger size, as she was a whopper 9lbs 5ozs when born in France.
