I have been knitting since I was four years old and crocheting since I was five. I used to crochet dresses for my school friends back in the 1960s when that was all the fashion. When I was 13 I was winning prizes for my crochet mats in fine cotton. All that is a lifetime away, after a gap of thirty years or so now I have started knitting again for my family. It's very relaxing and a great way to be creative.
