Hi. I live in Manchester and I have been knitting for a long time. My dear mum taught me when I was a little girl. I would sit and watch her needles and used to pester her to "knit my finger". Oh what a pain I must have been. She taught me though and I thank her for it.
I taught myself to crochet a few years ago but see no reason whatsoever why there are UK and US versions of the same stitch. I do know that the UK has no single crochet!
I knit every day and I'd be lost without it. I love to design a new pattern and see it come together.
I love to read and spend time with my daughter and family.
