This chunky leafy lace hat is knit in the round on circular needles so there's no need to sew it up in the final step.
The hat features ribbed edging and a leafy lace panel over a garter stitch background. The rest of the hat is knit in easy stockinette stitch. The edge can either be worn down for a slouchy look or rolled up for a shorter beanie look.
You need about 120 yards of a bulky or chunky weight yarn to make this hat. I used Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride Bulky in the color Kiwi to make the green hat in the photos.
The last photos (ones in a neutral shade) are of the hat made from Berroco Vintage Chunky yarn in the color Oats. The ribbed edge was also shortened a bit.
The finished hat will fit head sizes from 21" to 23" and is about 10" in height.
