Inspired by the lovely scroll atop the violoncello, this fair-isle pattern offers a classic, timeless style.
I provide a cast-on chart for 4 different gauges (22, 24, 26, and 28 sts = 4”), and 4 sizes (21”, 22”, 23”, and 24” circumference), and include the multiple needed to make a larger size. This gives you the option of using DK, sport or fingering weight yarn to make the cowl. The main color makes up about 55% of total yarn used, and the other two colors make up about 22.5% each.
Materials used for sample:
Knit Picks Palette: 1 skein each color (shown in Douglas Fir, Verdant Heather, and Brindle Heather)
Measurements of sample, after blocking: Circumference: 21”, Height: 7 ½”
