An easy to wear tunic, knit top down, with a simple lace pattern and a few details like side shaping and a button flap. The neck is roomy without being too much, and the sleeves are short and tapered. It is possible to adjust the ease with an extra lace repeat as you work the bust, use this if you need the room or keep on the smaller size if you prefer. I don't like the way lace can stretch over boobs so prefer some ease in a design like this.
I used the Jo Sharp DK Tweed for it's softness and the little bit of drape that the yarn has, but this would work well in many other DK tweeds or fibers. A couple of alternatives have been suggested in the yarn section, but remember to always check your gauge.
