A gentle slouchy-cum-rasta hat, neither a beanie or a beret but somewhere inbetween, using simple lace for the brim and picot edge for detail. Wonderful in solid and variegated yarns alike.
Correct sizing is dependent on row gauge for width and stitch gauge for length, with row gauge being the most important aspect to consider when subbing yarns.
The sample was knit in DROPS Camelia Superwash (now discontinued). Substitute yarns are shown below.
