Winter Haze Colour Block Scarf
This is a super soft and cozy scarf that knits up quickly to keep you warm and stylish. The stitch pattern is super easy and the colour changes keep it interesting. I went with three similar colours that fade into one another to give a gradient effect, but this scarf looks amazing in any colour combination. It knits up super fast because of the bulky weight of the yarn and also the fact that there is no purling! You’ll be able to whip through this project in no time.
The stitch is a “half-brioche” stitch, probably known by that name because it looks somewhat similar to brioche even though it’s simpler and less dense. The resulting fabric is very airy and open, but the scarf is long enough to wrap around two or three times so it will keep you warm without feeling heavy. I recommend choosing a yarn with a fluffy halo for this project to take full advantage of the colour mixing in every other block as well as the openness of the pattern.
