I started crocheting not long after my little girl was born. She was born late October so we had lots of winter clothes/hats ready for her arrival. However, the moment she was born the midwives put a little pink knitted hat on my daughter, and she lived in this little pink hat for the first few months of her life! It always stayed on her head and it grew with her, all of her shop bought fabric hats seem to just slide off within seconds. I don’t think I spent much time looking, but I couldn’t find another little knitted hat in any shops when I started to notice she was outgrowing it.
I’m a pretty crafty person so it didn’t take long to come to conclusion that I could just make one. After a whole bunch of YouTube videos on baby hats, I bought some plastic squeaky crochet hooks from The Range and the rest is history! (Mainly because I can’t remember why I decided to crochet instead of knit, I was sleep deprived and breastfeeding! I’ve even knitted before!). First 3 hats I made were to
