My name is Françoise, aka Frenchie. I have recently become an avid knitter/yarnophile. Learning how to knit was part of my New Year’s Resolution for 2014 - who knew that I would enjoy it so much? I hope to use this blog as a way to document my progress and growth as I move onto more and more challenging projects.
I was born in Sydney, Australia and moved to the US at a young age. I’ve lived in Austin, TX most of my life, but I’ve also lived in France for a couple years and hope to live in New Zealand one day.
Currently, I am living in Japan with my husband, in a small village called Ubuyama, located on the southern island Kyushu. The village is surrounded by rolling hills, mountain steeps, dairy farms, and a petting zoo aptly called “Cuddly Dominion.”
