I'm a mum to 2 children and a craftaholic. I have tried many things I can get my hands on. I created a corner in our garage that I call my art studio, where I can go and work on messy projects and store all my wool in storage containers. Knitting was always my passion and I have been knitting since I was about 10 years old. I started out knitting jumpers for my Barbi doll to knitting for myself. I was born in Hungary and learned to knit from my very talented mum then moved to New Zealand and had to get used to knitting from English magazines. I rarely knit from books now since I discovered this website as I love to support and purchase other designers projects. I mainly design for my children and when they outgrow the items I hand them down to friends or charity shops. People treasure my handmade clothes and get many compliments when I dress my children in them. Often get asked if I sell my items. My answer to them is I rather teach them how to knit.
