I am a self taught knitter, I've only been knitting properly for about a year or 2. At the moment I'm liking fun projects and toys which are easy to do so I can practice my skills.
I mainly like blues and yellows but will look at other colours but I tend to ignore pink, I hate pink. Unfortunately my mum loves pink so I do have some in my stash.
I'm no good at sewing, I can do mattress stitch but embroidering eyes and sewing on legs etc. for toys I find difficult.
This year (2017) I'm going to brave and knit at least one top of some sort for myself and try and knit a pair of socks too, I'm determined to do it.
