Courtney Spainhower
Designer designer-badge

map-pin Indianapolis, United States

Courtney began in fine art as a ceramicist however, as a stay-at-home mother, she discovered knitting - the perfect blend of child-friendly and portable while fulfilling her need to keep her fidgeting hands busy while creating utilitarian pieces. She began designing as Pink Brutus Knits full-time in 2009. Since then, Courtney has contributed work to many books and magazines including Interweave Knits, Knitscene, Berroco Yarn Co, and Pom Pom Quarterly. She released her first book, Family-Friendly Knits in 2015 and is currently in the thick on her second.
