I have knitted since I was a child with the ends of the needles tucked under my armpits and tongue stuck out for concentration. I knit mainly jumpers for the grandchildren and cardigans for me. Would like to tackle a lace shawl one day but there's never enough hours in the day and soon I need to think about Christmas (June). My favourite is 4ply and definitely machine washable.
