I love Sydney, the sea, the harbour and things such as Mardi Gras. I help look after the Ladies Pool, work in a museum studio and like all kinds of interesting, bright, kind people. Wish we could all experience more of the natural and built world, and make the world fairer for everyone, as it can be as cruel and tragic as it is wonderful. Thankfully many of us can appreciate beautifully or funnily made, said, sung or observed, bold or subtle things. And for the record I am not a great knitter - yet - but love the practice of fibre and all kind of arts, the rigor of some of the maths behind knitting, not that I do that!, and in particular love the histories, technologies and experiences of the craft and the irrestibly beautiful colours and textures of yarns, so you never know! I knit a bit when I am super stressed by pending work, partly as work avoidance, partly as a meditation. Good luck, hope life is made better through your projects.
