I have been crocheting off and on since I was 11 years old. My first project was a baby blanket using the seashell stitch for a lady at my grandmother's church. Years later, I started making hats and even had challenging requests to make hats in the images of my friends pets! Now I am getting more interested in children's clothing, adult sweaters and cardigans. But there is nothing more satisfying then creating an item for someone and seeing the surprise and joy on their face when they learn you made it from a piece of string!
