Some times I believed I started knitting before I could walk. But I know for a fact I learned at the tender age of 4 at the feet of my favourite aunt. I have never stopped. I love to knit in dk and arran.
My stash at home is way to big for some, but I can always find room for more yarn. I am very lucky to own a lot of the original Rowan knitting books including some of the very rare early editions. Kaffe fassett is my all time favourite designer. I was once lucky enough to meet him wearing one of his designs I had made (Foolish Virgin book 7) he gave me a very nice comment of the colours I had chosen, then laughed when I told him I had to weave in over 300 ends of yarn.
Knitting is still my passion even though I am much older now, my projects are getting smaller, my stash is getting bigger and I am still learning and passing on my skills to others. Just wish I had taken pictures of all my knits of the past years
