My mother taught me to knit when I was in 4H. My dear Aunt Harriet encouraged me, and I worked on a sweater in my early college years. Several years passed, and I took up knitting again after in my empty nester years. I find knitting soothing, and hope the things I make will add beauty and love to the world. I also enjoy the uncovering the mystery of creating something new.
