Crocheting since my teens, taught myself to knit in my 40s. I enjoy combining the two, such as putting a crochet edge on a knitted item. Sometimes I get an idea for something and just start to work on to see if it comes out as envisioned; sometimes that works and sometimes it doesn't, but it is always educational.
