I've rediscovered knitting & crochet after a long hiatus since learning to knit from my Mom and Grandmother who were avid needle workers as well as traditional, conservative American women who also taught me a good work ethic and common sense thinking to discern the truth amidst the liberal rhetoric. So, when certain knitting forums spewed their hate, bigotry and misinformation under the guise of being "inclusive" and supporting "diversity," I take it personally and will do my part to take action against such views.
