I have designed knit and crochet for Leisure Arts since 1986. I worked in house from 1986-1989. I had our son in 1989 and began freelancing for them in order to be a full-time mother. I home schooled our son for his last 9 years of school and he is now married to a lovely young woman and together they have given me one of my greatest gift! A grandson. I am married to my high school sweetheart, Michael. We celebrated 35 years last year (2017). I enjoy knitting, crocheting, spinning, weaving, dyeing, and quilting. I probably do more knitting than all the rest combined. I have lots of knit and crochet books out on the market. One of my favorites is a lace tutorial and is published by Leisure Arts. It is called “I Can’t Believe I’m Lace Knitting”. I am so excited about this book. It uses yarns that can be purchased at your local yarn stores. I am a lace knitting addict and I hope to introduce a whole new group to this easy, unbelievable beautiful technique.
