United States
I love working with my hands and I am a longtime multi-crafter since childhood. I learned to knit, crochet and sew in elementary school back in Switzerland but have lived now in the US for the last 20+ years.
With every crafting project I seek new challenges and use a diverse range of techniques and media to produce designs that highlight simplicity and elegance.
My designs have been published in major knitting magazines, as book contributions, with online magazines, for indie dyers and yarn companies, and if time allows, I self-publish some of my patterns.
I’m a regular freelance Technical Editor at Interweave for its many wonderful knit & crochet magazines (Knits, Knitscene, Knit.Wear, Crochet, Piecework, Knitting Traditions, various eMagazines, etc.), Craftsy (now BluPrint) and indie designers, before which I was the sole German-English translator for Verena Knitting (~70 patterns/magazine) during its final year published as an English magazine.
Happy Crafting!
